Back in 2017, when I started my blog, the first thing I looked up was what the audience actually wants, and for that I went to Reddit and Quora, and I got a bunch of topics which people were asking. I found a few repeated questions which worked for me like gold, because this is exactly what I wanted to write on my blog.
Now, after writing content on those real questions, I started sharing their question’s answer link, I put my blog post link in a real and direct way, I mean in the replies or in the DMs, and naturally they went to my blog post, and that was better, as I really didn’t want to start pushing or promoting my blog that way, because the link was actually giving help to those people.
The one thing you should understand about Reddit and similar platforms is that people do hate self-promotion, so whenever you share a link, make sure it doesn’t look like self-promotion. Instead, it should look like you are answering people’s questions and helping them.
Also, make sure that if your answer gets more views over two or three months, then probably your post and that answer are getting more reach, and after that your blog will have more traffic.

- Make sure to create short-form Reels for your Instagram
- Always create animated videos or visual graphics that can grab attention

#3 Forums and niche directories
Many people feel that directories and forums don’t work nowadays at all, as it’s old school, but in my opinion, it still does work.
In each directory, you have to find one related to your blog topic, and once you’ve found it, you can submit your site and get backlinks that won’t just drive traffic but also signal to search engines that your content and website exist.
I know forums won’t work that fast, as they are too slow, but forums do have a small loyal audience, and they actually read the links people share, so answering questions can become a win-win for you.
Also, surprisingly, these forums are five or ten years old and still rank well on Google, so this can be helpful in sending good traffic to your post.

How long can it take to get 1000 visitors?
Well, there is no timeline at all, and no one can realistically promise you how much time it can take.
Because if you are consistently publishing content on your blog, then the given methods can give you 1000 visitors within two to six weeks, but sometimes it can take more time to hit the milestone.
Also, if your Reddit thread or Pinterest pin goes viral, then this can take off way faster, it completely depends on your niche and your targeted audience.
Most people make the mistake of expecting to get a thousand or 2000 visitors within a day, which is unrealistic. Traffic doesn’t grow this fast, it takes weeks or even months to spike.
If you are a great blogger but don’t have patience, then you are not a patient blogger, and those bloggers often quit within a month or two.
