Hey folks, have you ever heard about event blogging, which is the safest option for those lazy bloggers who actually want to make money in very less time.
I know this sounds a little tricky, but it’s actually true. Through event blogging you can drive millions of traffic to your event blog within a few days or weeks and you don’t even have to do much content writing stuff.
Well, but this isn’t that easy because event blogging is all about a particular event which you are going to cover like big Indian festivals such as New Year, Christmas and so on.
So if you are also one who wants to try event blogging, but don’t know how to do it and how you can proceed with success, then don’t worry just read this article and start implementing it.
What is Event Blogging?
So before moving further, let’s first talk about what actually event blogging is, because event blogging is more about exploring a particular event than producing content.
Yes, so let’s first talk about what kind of event you are going to explore.
So there are many events which you can work with such as festival events, sports events, viral trending news events and etc.

Now also make sure that event blogging is not a long term game. It’s all about getting traffic for a little short time. It is not that much capable as actual blogging is.
So why should we work on event blogging rather than actually full time blogging?
So the answer is very simple because in full time blogging, you have to spend at least 5 to 6 months, produce daily content, do its SEO and many other things which do not give you that much confidence in initial blogging days.
But whereas event blogging has many benefits such as you don’t have to do much research, SEO optimization, little work will help and if any event is going to come you have to just do planning and post 20 days before the event.
Now event blogging does also work because in India people go crazy for such festivals and events and they do forward such website links on WhatsApp groups.
So now let’s talk about what kind of topics you can work with on event blogging.
4 Topics for Event Blogging in 2026
Choosing the right blog niche or a topic for event blogging is a very confusing thing and as we know that India is a country of festivals where each month people do celebrate a different kind of festival, so which kind of festival should we cover is a big question.
So here I am going to share five best events which you can cover as per Google Trends and these festival keywords people do highly search on Google search engine.

1. Flipkart BBD Sale Event
So during the e-commerce sales, Flipkart Big Billion Day is a big thing in India and many people actually do wait for such sales for 6 to 8 months as the sale comes every year once and through the sale many things such as electronic devices, smartphones, laptops, people get at much cheaper price.
Even last year, mostly Indian people purchased their iPhones, Google Pixels or even Samsung phones online on Big Billion Day sale on Flipkart.
So starting an event blog on Flipkart Big Billion Day sale could be a much better and underrated idea as if you create such website or such event blog on this sale and do add a few products into your blog and share such links on WhatsApp groups then within a few minutes your blog can get huge traffic.
2. Indian Festival Events
Same has to do with festival events as mostly Raksha Bandhan, Deepawali, Christmas, Holi, Eid, people do celebrate and major metro city audience also get involved in such festivals in India.
So for example, if I create a Christmas event blog, and in that I write a few things about Jesus and create some gifting animations where people can enter their name and share such links to another person as a Christmas wish.
And to wish other colleagues, these people might share this link on Facebook, WhatsApp and many other social media accounts to their close ones and obviously they are going to click on such websites to check what their relatives are wishing them. So festival event blogging is also a good pick.
3. Sarkari Yojana Events
I don’t know why many people don’t consider Sarkari Yojana as event blogging, because as far as I know, the Indian government keeps working on many Yojanas and civilians are actually interested in such Yojanas.
So let me take a very recent example of my personal event blog, which I created on PMJAY Yojana.
So in this Yojana the Indian government helps poor people for getting free hospital treatment up to five lakh rupees and I just created an event blog on this topic,
Where I mentioned each and every detail about it, even how to apply for the Yojana and you won’t believe within a month I have reached more than 200K visitors on my blog.
4. Trending Topic Events
Creating event blog on trending topics such as a few viral news or film fare awards or even on Independence Day can also work.
Because all we are doing is targeting such viral trending topics and if we work on such topics audience will come to our blog to check what kind of events we are covering.
So working on such trending topics is also a big win-win in event blogging. I personally worked on Independence Day and Republic Day where I have received very positive results.

How to Make Money From Event Blogging?
Now let’s talk about how much can we earn from our event blog.
So this completely depends on your event blogging niche, audience and advertisement bidding.
Let’s understand this by an actual case study of my own event blog website.
So I created a Republic Day blog on 15 January and it took me three days to create a complete website and later on I started doing its SEO and sharing it with my friends and with office colleagues.
Now on 25th January at midnight I checked traffic on this website and the real time was 300 people. Now on 26th January it went to 5000 real time people.
And yes, my website was already approved through Google AdSense so the ads were live on my site and overall within three days I have received a total of 200K visitors and I earned almost $300 in a week which considers as very good earning in event blogging.
How to Start an Event Blog?
If you are looking forward to starting event blogging, you just need to follow my five step procedure and you will end up with a good event blog.
#1 Choose Event Blog Topic
So first thing you have to do is choose a right event topic (Holi, Eid & etc.)
#2 Get Domain Related to Event
Then you have to buy a domain name related to this event such as happyholiwishes.in and you should only choose .com or .in domain extensions.
#3 Event Blog Keyword Research
The third thing is doing the right keyword research for that particular event, and do use rich media such as images and animations in your event blog with ALT tag related to that particular image.
#4 Choose CMS for Event Blogging
Now you have to choose WordPress CMS platform for your event blog and for this you can purchase hosting from Hostinger to set up your event blog.
If you don’t know how to design your event blog, then you can simply go to YouTube and search for any event blog WordPress custom theme designs.
#5 Write Quality Content about Event
Once you have created your event blog, then you have to produce 5 to 10 articles related to that event and mention every single thing related to that festival, including images and do publish that post. Once they get indexed on Google, you can start sharing your website links.
My Final Words
Event blogging is a good thing for lazy bloggers and I do agree with this. Also, if people are going to make money from event blogging in a very small time then this is not a bad thing at all.
But make sure that you will choose appropriate ad network platforms because Google AdSense nowadays is very strict and doesn’t give approval on PHP based event scripts so you always have to work on such events where you will produce a few quality articles.
Don’t share your event blog links in too many WhatsApp groups as this can also create a bad impact on your website and make sure to use a good cloud or VPS hosting as once you reach 200 to 300 users real time then your shared hosting might go down.
