Friends have you ever thought of creating your own blog by writing few articles, getting AdSense approval and making money from it?
Everyone who comes in a blogging field, the first thought that comes to their mind is this only, that they will get huge traffic from Google and will make thousands of dollars by sitting at home.
But this is not the actual reality! Because in the recent survey we found that 90% blogs get closed within a year and the reason is very simple. They don’t have enough traffic.
Now why I am talking about traffic?
So When a passionate blogger do work on his blog, the only thing he’s looking forward is getting traffic. When there is no traffic in his blog that means no income and when a blogger doesn’t get paid for his blog for 3 to 4 months, he loses his passion.
So yes, blogging is not an easy game and to survive in this journey you have to be a consistent blogger with better strategy.
And don’t worry, I am here to help you all, and I’ll make sure that in your blog, you will drive a good amount of traffic so just follow the given steps.
The Actual Reality of Blogging
So before moving further you just have to understand the reality of blogging because if your goal is to become a full time blogger then yes this shouldn’t be a hobby. Why I am saying this?
Because blogging is a full time business and people who consider it as a hobby they also treat it as a passion. They don’t look at it as a serious business and that’s why their blog is inconsistent.
So to improve your blogging skills, you just have to read so many blog articles and understand how blogging business does work. So for this, let me share my blogging blueprint with you.

1. Choosing a Wrong Niche
Picking a wrong topic is the most common mistake newbie bloggers do. Yes, bloggers only choose those niches which they personally like, but they don’t check if that niche is really having a good search volume, low competition and other potential.
Because when a person chooses the niche which he likes, for example a gaming chair blog, now there are already thousands of articles and reviews available of this chair on the Internet. Now when a person comes with such idea and starts a blog, how will he get ranking?
Because gaming chair niche is a highly competitive niche and yes, the search volume is good, but the competition is too high and to crack it he needs to work for at least 8 to 10 months on his blog.
So instead of working on such niche, you can choose a few underrated ones, for example a Bollywood era.
So you can start a blog on 70s, 80s Bollywood Hindi films, because such topics feel nostalgic to today’s generation people and even if you will write 30 to 40 articles on those Hindi movies of Amitabh Bachchan or Akshay Khanna, people will get more attraction towards your blog.
2. Inconsistency
Don’t be that blogger who gets excited for a few weeks and later on stops producing content and yes, losing motivation on blogging is a very common mistake.
And even Google doesn’t show interest on such websites who don’t publish content consistently as Google algorithm actively works and does crawling of websites to give them a better ranking.
Here I’ll tell you one of my blogger friend Priya’s example.
So Priya is from Pune and she is a CA by profession so she started her personal finance blog.
In the first month she wrote around 14 articles, yes that’s a huge number of articles for a month and later on in the third or fourth month she just published 3 to 4 articles which is an 80% drop.
Now, when Google does crawl her website they might find that in the first month they produced articles and later on they are not that consistent, so Google started losing confidence on her website.
So after a month her website traffic went down and later on she came to me and I suggested her to create a content calendar where she has to only take two hours a day for writing content, and she started publishing content regularly.
After being consistent for six months her blog gets 25,000 to 1,00,000 organic traffic from Google search.
So yes, becoming a consistent blogger is a big thing and you have to be consistent. Once you started writing 1000 to 1500 words articles your blog is on the right path.
3. Low Value Content
Nowadays, when ChatGPT and others are working consistently on AI search engines, Google is also running a smart algorithm where it understands which content is useful and which one is not.
So in 2026 if you are thinking that ChatGPT generated content will work? No it will not?
Because like you thousands of people are already giving similar prompts to ChatGPT and generating similar content so the uniqueness of that content is already gone.
And such content is low value content for Google so they will consider this content as a shallow article which doesn’t have any value for readers.
So obviously, Google is not going to rank such content and even you will not get AdSense approval, because to get AdSense approval also you need original and quality content.
So all you have to do is write quality content and that should be helpful for your readers. The article should be detailed with at least 500 to 2000 words.
While writing an article, you have to always do research on that topic and check your competitors content.
Then make sure that your content structure should be clean and proper where you have to start your content with an introduction, later on add heading tags such as H2 and H3 and make sure to use FAQ and a good conclusion.
4. Doing Wrong SEO
A few days back I wrote an article on why Google is ignoring your blog where I also shared five steps to get better ranking and indexing on Google search.
Now here also I am going to tell you something similar because doing wrong SEO is not going to get you a ranking.
Because writing good content isn’t enough and good quality content alone won’t drive traffic on your blog.
So now what you have to do is work on your blog’s search engine optimization and for this there are a few basic things which are mandatory.
Before writing an article, please do proper keyword research and while writing content make sure to add at least 10 to 15 keywords into it.
Your blog post title and Meta description should be clean and visible. In Meta description please write a one line summary about the article.
Internal linking is another thing which most bloggers ignore and in your article you should always do internal linking.
The other thing which you have to do is use a good image and add ALT text on it. Make sure your website design is SEO and mobile friendly.
5. Wrong Web Hosting
Yes, hosting is also a big factor of not getting success in blogging because newbie bloggers start working on free hosting platforms such as Blogger, which is a good platform, but that isn’t as good as WordPress is.
So I always recommend people to go with budget friendly web hosting from Hostinger or SiteGround. These companies provide affordable shared hosting plans.
A good hosting will keep your website speed and server speed fast and when visitors do scroll your website, it should be fast on both desktop and mobile devices.
What to Do if Blog is Not Getting Recognition?
So friends, there could be multiple reasons for your blog failing and the biggest one is blog audit.
1. Search Console Errors
Yes people do ignore search console errors, so first visit the search console and then check which article is not getting ranking and then improve it. This is called blog auditing.
2. Competitor analysis
Competitor analysis could be the second reason because successful blogs who get higher ranking always study their competitors.
3. Bad backlinks
Bad backlinks is also a reason for failed blogs. One of my blogs had too many bad backlinks, and because of that my domain authority went down and not just domain authority, but also Google dropped my content ranking.
Conclusion
Friends while choosing blogging as a career, you have to do a little investment on good domain and hosting, and after that investment, you also need to invest your time.
Because money is not going to do all things for you, your time and hard work will actually help you to become a successful blogger.
